A 35-year-old woman had been married for two years without using contraception, but had not become pregnant. She experienced significant work-related stress and often felt fatigued. She hoped to improve her physical condition and aid in conception through traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Main Symptoms: Fatigue, anxiety, allergies to pollen and pets, light menstrual flow, and frequent lower back pain. Western medical examinations showed no abnormalities. TCM Diagnosis: Lung Qi deficiency, Kidney Yin deficiency, and Blood deficiency.Treatment Plan: Acupuncture treatment once or twice a week, along with traditional Chinese herbal medications, such as Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang, Er Zhi Wan, and Tao Hong Si Wu Tang. Treatment Results: After six months of body conditioning and taking herbal medications, the patient's allergy symptoms significantly improved, her energy levels increased, and her complexion became rosy and radiant. Six months later, she naturally became pregnant and delivered a healthy baby girl at full term.
* IVF Supportive Therapy through TCM Leads to Birth of Twins
A couple visit for treatment together. The husband, a 40-year-old computer engineer, often experienced lower back pain and fatigue. He had poor sperm quality and was unable to produce normal sperm for IVF. The reproductive center recommended acupuncture treatment. TCM Diagnosis: Kidney deficiency. A 60-year-old male suffered from lower back pain due to a lumbar injury from an accident.
