Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an important part of Chinese traditional culture with a long history and profound knowledge. It encompasses a variety of treatment modalities, such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, massage therapy, moxibustion, manual therapy, and more.
“Great doctors treat illnesses before they occur.” In addition to diagnosing and treating present illnesses, TCM also excels in preventive medicine. Through TCM’s diagnostic methods—inspection, listening/smelling, inquiry, and pulse-taking—potential illnesses can be detected before full development. When an emerging condition is identified, preventive treatment can be applied to halt its progression.
